Meet the Maker
Alejandra is an artisan who works in her studio at the Tehachapi Mountains. She is a self-taught silversmith and a cab stone collector. When she's not creating new pieces, you can find her trying new recipes in her kitchen, or enjoying the day with her two little ones. Her artistic mind runs wild and usually has many many projects going on at the same time, not only in her studio, but in her home as well.
I am a self-taught Jewelry Designer. I'm in motion constantly with my designs, I evolve every year with new concepts and as I learn new techniques, my designs change and adapt. I am aware that I have so much to learn and explore, and I'm always amazed of all the wonderful and great jewelers that have leave us with amazing legacies, I am sure I won't be able to take all in as I develop my passion in jewelry making through the years, and I sure hope to become someday someone else's inspiration.
You'll see throughout my designs that I use natural stones, and sometimes lab created ones too!, but what I see on each one, is that they are special in its own way, and I use that "extra something" to work with them and make them spectacular for you to wear. I do also love working with special stones that my customers bring, and specially I love to transform those ones that have a history behind.
Wear my jewelry proudly, I want you to feel comfortable and confident with every one of my pieces. It will make me proud and I will be so honored to call you my customer. And, don't be shy, come and let me know if something is not right, also, get me out of my comfort zone and challenge me with your custom order. That's what makes me grow and feel alive.
Thank you for stopping by and hope to see you around often,
Alejandra Garcia Whittier
